Relationships in Design is a project consisting of a book and a website developed as part of an self-directed university project – an archive and critical reflection that celebrates creative couples, highlights the work of female designers, and questions power structures.
The project sheds light on the often overlooked role of women in the design world, creates space for female designers, and analyzes the societal structures that have led to inequality. The book serves as a space for recognition, correction, and reflection on power dynamics within creative partnerships.
This project consists of a book and a website. The combination of digital and print publication ensures broad accessibility, caters to different reading preferences, and allows for easy updates—while preserving the tangible experience of a physical book. The website can also be accessed via the NFC chip embedded in the book.
The book was displayed at the exhibition pavilion of the university. It also was part of ↘HOUSEHALT on December 19, 2024
